ONE POINT LESSON: Negative Questions
Responding to negative questions often causes some confusion. Unlike positive questions, we actually have to say "no" when the question is correct.
For example:
Question: "You're not from Tokyo, are you?"
Response: "No, I'm not. I'm from Osaka."
If the question is incorrect, we have to say "yes".
For example:
Question: "You don't really like baseball, do you?"
Response: "Yes I do. I support the Giants."
