Japanese people use this word to refer to the action of “making a claim”. or to make a complaint. A patron at a restaurant might “make a claim” to the server if the food or service were unsatisfactory.
Incorrect usage:
No claim or Return, please.
-Instead:
All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges
The customer made a claim to me.
-Instead: The customer complained to me.
A patron at a restaurant might ”make a claim” to the server if the food or service were unsatisfactory.
No claim or Return, please
The customer made a claim to me
All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
The customer complained to me.
Made a claimのかわりにcomplained to meになっていることに注意。
